In Central India, a Cyclonic Circulation is seen over Southeast Rajasthan and another over Chhattisgarh and adjoining areas. The axis of Monsoon Trough is extending from Southwest Rajasthan to Northwest Bay of Bengal linking these two Cyclonic Circulations.
Now, we expect moderate showers with few heavy spells to occur over East Rajasthan like Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Bundi, Chittorgarh, many parts of Madhya Pradesh like Guna, Sheopur, Hoshangabad and Sagar, South Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and Marathwada.
While Konkan and Goa will continue with moderate to heavy rains. Whereas light to moderate rains will occur over Gujarat region and Madhya Maharashtra.
Meanwhile rains are likely to remain subdued over East Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, many parts of Bihar with scattered rains to be seen over Northeast Bihar.
There are chances that South Odisha might get one or two heavy spells of rains. Places like Gajapati, Ganjam and Koraput will be impacted by these rains. The rain activities are expected to increase over Northeast India with isolated places witnessing heavy to very heavy spells especially over Assam, Meghalaya and parts of Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya in wake of humid winds from the Bay of Bengal.

Up in the North, humid easterlies are blowing across the northern plains of the country and a feeble Western Disturbance is over North Jammu and Kashmir. Hence, moderate to heavy rains will be a sight over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand that might lead to flashfloods, and landslides. Moderate showers are expected over Chandigarh, Ambala and weather over rest Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, North Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh will be almost dry with isolated thunderstorms.
Lastly in South India, Subdued Monsoon activities are likely to continue over Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, South Interior Karnataka with Bengaluru and Chennai to be dry. Moderate to heavy rains are expected over North Coastal Karnataka and parts of Telangana with one or two moderate spells over North Interior Karnataka.
