Beginning with progress of Monsoon, even after the making a delayed start and sluggish advancement for quite long time, Monsoon 2019 will manage to cover entire country in time i.e. before July 15.

Coming back to the region wise forecast, East and Northeast India is gearing up for heavy to very heavy rains. A Low-Pressure Area is marked over East Uttar Pradesh and a Trough is extending from this system to Northeast India where a Cyclonic Circulation is persisting.

With this, we expect heavy to very heavy rains over Assam, parts of Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland. Whereas, moderate to heavy showers will be seen over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.

Meanwhile, parts of Odisha, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal and rest Northeast India would see light to moderate rain and thundershowers.

Heading to North, a feeble Western Disturbance is over North Jammu and Kashmir. Its induced Cyclonic Circulation is over Central Pakistan and adjoining Punjab and an East-West Trough is running from this across the plains of Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Thus, we expect rains to increase over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Uttar Pradesh. Also, scattered rains are expected over parts of Jammu and Kashmir, North Punjab and North Haryana whereas, rest Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and North Rajasthan might get to see isolated rain and thundershowers.
