A fresh Western Disturbance is marked over Jammu and Kashmir and its induced a Cyclonic Circulation is over Central Pakistan and West Rajasthan. In the next 24 hours, we expect scattered rain and snow to commence over Jammu and Kashmir. Gradually, its intensity will increase thus, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand will also start receiving rains. Apart from this, isolated rain and thundershower are also likely over northern parts of Punjab and West Rajasthan.
In wake of this, cold wave is all set to depart from parts of northwestern plains of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Delhi, as change in wind pattern would lead to increase of minimums.
In Central India, night temperatures are expected to increase marginally across the region. Weather of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra will remain dry.
Meanwhile in East India continuous flow of Northwesterly winds, will lead to a further drop in night temperatures over East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. However, we do not expect much change in temperatures of Jharkhand, Odisha and West Bengal. Apart from this, northeast states will witness a marginal increase in day temperatures.

Coming on to South India, no significant weather system can be seen over here. Thus, we expect weather to become dry. However, due to the increased moisture we expect, moderate to dense fog over Coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh during the morning hours. Minimum temperatures of Telangana, Interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu may drop marginally.
