Beginning with North India, a fresh Western Disturbance is over Jammu and Kashmir. Its induced Cyclonic Circulation is over Punjab and adjoining areas. Also, a Trough from this system is extending up to East Bihar. So, we expect West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and Delhi to receive rain and thundershower activities by morning of January 16. Rain and snowfall activities are possible over Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Isolated hailstorm activities are also possible over Northwest Uttar Pradesh.
Talking about Central India, where another Trough is extending from North Rajasthan to Gujarat. So, we expect rains over Northwest Madhya Pradesh as well as East Rajasthan whereas weather of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and West Rajasthan will remain dry. Minimum temperatures may drop further over West Rajasthan and Gujarat.

Coming on to East and Northeast India, where rains are expected over East Uttar Pradesh and parts of Bihar. Weather of Jharkhand, Odisha and West Bengal will remain dry. Northeast India will also experience dry weather. However, isolated light rains may occur over eastern parts of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
Lastly in South India, where humid winds from Bay of Bengal will continue over Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu. But weather is expected to remain dry over these areas. Karnataka and Kerala will also witness dry weather conditions. Light isolated rains are possible over Lakshadweep.
