Weather Forecast Jan 13: Rain and thundershowers likely in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and West Uttar Pradesh during next 24 hours

Up in the north a Western Disturbance as an upper air Cyclonic Circulation lies over northern parts of Pakistan and adjoining parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Its associated induced Cyclonic Circulation lies over east-central parts of Pakistan and adjoining parts of Northwest Rajasthan.As these systems would be moving east-northeastwards, moderate to heavy rain and snowfall will be affecting at many places in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh with scattered places in Uttrakhand.
 
Another cyclonic circulation is also lying over Haryana and adjoining parts of Delhi. Due to this systems, we expect light to moderate rain and thundershowers at many places associated with hailstorm at isolated places  in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and West Uttar Pradesh.An upper air trough is extending from North-West Rajasthan to Northeast Arabian Sea across Gujarat. Due to this, light spell of rain or thundershower with gusty winds will occur at scattered places in Rajasthan and Haryana.

Central india Due to the movement of western disturbance across Jammu and Kashmir and induced Cyclonic Circulation over Haryana, the northern parts of Madhya Pradesh will receive light spell of rain and thundershower at isolated places. While other parts of central India will remain almost dry with an increase in temperatures.
An upper air trough is extending from North-West Rajasthan to Northeast parts of Arabian Sea. Due to this system, scattered places in Gujarat, isolated places in North Konkan and adjoining parts of North Madhya Maharashtra will receive light rain and thundershower with gusty winds.

In the eastern parts of the country Due to the presence of northerly cool winds, the weather will be almost dry and cold during the night and early morning hours. While the day will be pleasant with bright sunshine. During early morning hours, moderate to dense fog at scattered places is likely to continue in East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal.
The seasonal Cyclonic Circulation lies over eastern parts of Bangladesh and adjoining region in the lower levels which will have no impact on weather. Hence dry and cold weather will continue during early morning and night hours. The day will be pleasant with a sunny sky

Down south Due to the mixing of humid winds from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea, the coastal parts of Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu and Kerala may receive light rain at isolated places. The weather will remain almost dry in many parts of South peninsula while the night will be pleasant.
