Cyclonic circulation over Bay of Bengal is now marked over Bangladesh, Assam and Meghalaya region.

While, the Monsoon trough is running along the foothills of Himalayas up to Northeast region across this weather system.

Both the systems coupled together will bring torrential rains over foothills of Bihar, Sikkim and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya. While Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura will get good rainfall.

Up in the hills, Western disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir and adjoining region is now moving away but the remnants of the system may give isolated rain over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Moving down south, trough continue to persist from North Interior Karnataka up to extreme parts of Peninsular India across South Interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Accordingly, we can expect good rainfall over parts of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
Remaining parts of the country will continue with isolated light showers only.

However parts of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh will remain mostly dry. As a result, day temperatures over these areas will be settling above normal by 2 to 3 degrees.
