The depression over Saurashtra region of Gujarat has weakened into a low pressure area and moved further northwards. It is presently marked over North Gujarat.

While a Western Disturbance is over Jammu and Kashmir and adjoining North Pakistan.

Interaction between these two systems will bring heavy to very heavy showers over Gujarat. Good rains can also expected over Rajasthan and northwestern plains of Punjab, Haryana and Delhi-NCR.

Himachal Pradesh will also get light to moderate rain, while Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand will received scattered light rain.

While, intensity of rain will now reduce significantly over Maharashtra, but parts Madhya Maharashtra and Konkan will continue with light rain.

Meanwhile on the eastern side, cyclonic circulation in Bay of Bengal has intensified into a low pressure area.It is presently marked over North Bay of Bengal, off Odisha and West Bengal coast and continues to become more marked. A trough can also be seen extending from Odisha up to Andhra Pradesh along the East Coast.

This will give widespread heavy rain over Odisha and West Bengal on Sunday and later on cover more parts of East India including Bihar and Jharkhand. Andhra Pradesh will also receive good rain. Under the influence of this system, rains over northeastern states will also pick up pace and light to moderate may be observed over the region.

Only Kerala is expected to get scattered light showers, while other areas will receive subdued rainfall activity.
