The cyclonic circulation over northwest Bay of Bengal off the Odisha and Andhra Pradesh Coast has intensified into a low pressure area. With this, good rains will continue over coastal parts of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh, while light to moderate rain is expected over other parts of the state.

A trough can be seen extending from this system up northwest Uttar Pradesh across Chhattisgarh and adjoining Madhya Pradesh. Accordingly we can scattered showers along the trough line.

On the western side, we can see a cyclonic circulation in Arabian Sea off the Konkan coast. This will bring light to moderate rain with thundershowers activity over entire Maharashtra and South Gujarat.

An east-west trough can be seen extending between the two weather systems on East and West Coast. We can get weather activity all along the well-marked trough line.

Moving up in the hills, the feeble Western Disturbance has now moved away but the remnants of the system will give isolated rainfall over the higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Meanwhile, plains of Northwest India inclusive of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi-NCR and Uttar Pradesh will continue with the dry weather, leading to rise in both maximum and minimum temperatures.

Due to change in wind pattern, Gangetic plains and Northeast India will get scattered light to moderate showers at many places. While isolated heavy rain can be expected over Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal.
