The cyclonic circulation over west-central Bay of Bengal continues to get more marked. And, we can expect, system to intensify into a low pressure area after next 2-3 days.

An east-west trough can be seen extending from this system up to Coastal Maharashtra across Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Maharashtra.

Accordingly we can expect moderate to heavy showers over Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra on Friday. Parts of Odisha will also get scattered showers.

Another trough is also extending from Madhya Maharashtra up to Lakshadweep islands. With this, we can expect rainfall activity along the West Coast as well as in the interior parts of Peninsular India.

Cyclonic circulation over South Pakistan and Northeast Arabian Sea is still prevailing and will continue to give some showers over parts of South Gujarat.

Moving up in the hills, a Western Disturbance has shifted eastwards and is now marked over Jammu and Kashmir and adjoining Pakistan as an upper air system. We can expect isolated light rain over hilly states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Meanwhile, retreat of the Southwest Monsoon from some parts of northwestern plains will keep the weather dry over the region including parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, most parts of Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand.
