The cyclonic circulation over west-central Bay of Bengal is still prevailing and continues to be in process of getting more marked. We can expect, system to intensify into a low pressure area in next 2-3 days.
With this, we can expect scattered good rains over Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and parts of Telangana and Chhattisgarh on Thursday.
While on western side, we can see a trough extending from Madhya Maharashtra up to Lakshadweep islands across Karnataka and Kerala. Accordingly, we can expect rainfall activity along the West Coast as well as in the interior parts of Peninsular India.
A cyclonic circulation is also seen over South Pakistan and Northeast Arabian Sea. This system is likely to give some showers over parts of South Gujarat.
Moving up in the hills, a Western Disturbance is prevailing over North Pakistan as an upper air system. Due to this, we can expect isolated light rain over hilly states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Meanwhile, Southwest Monsoon has withdrawn from some parts of Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana, The withdrawal line of Monsoon is passing through Amritsar, Hisar, Ajmer and Barmer. According to Skymet, weather conditions are favourable for the further withdrawal of Monsoon from Northwest India.
