The Western Disturbance is seen moving away, while an anti-cyclone is marked over Rajasthan. As a result, we expect dry weather to prevail over Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana and North Rajasthan. Light rain may occur over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Uttar Pradesh.

Moving to east and northeast regions, East Uttar Pradesh may observe isolated rains, while scattered rains are likely over Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha. In comparison to this, rain intensity is expected to be more over West Bengal and northeastern states. Moderate rain with one or two heavy spells cannot be ruled out over these regions.

Coming to Central India, humid winds from Bay of Bengal are blowing over East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha, hence scattered light to moderate rain is possible over the area. Meanwhile, the weather over Gujarat, South Rajasthan and West Madhya Pradesh will remain mostly dry.
