The low pressure area continues to prevail over Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining areas. The eastern end of the Monsoon trough is also through East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and centre of this low pressure area, while the western end continues to run along the foothills of Himalayas.
With this, good Monsoon rains may occur over West Bengal, Jharkhand, North Chhattisgarh, Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh and parts of Northeast India.
Scattered light rains are likely over Odisha, rest of Chhattisgarh, some parts of East Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
A fresh cyclonic circulation is also seen over Gujarat and adjoining areas, which will bring light to moderate rains over South Gujarat and North Konkan and Goa. Light rains can also be seen along Coastal Karnataka, while Monsoon will remain subdued over Peninsular India including Kerala.
Meanwhile, dry northwesterly winds will continue to blow over North India including parts of West Madhya Pradesh. Thus we can expect warm days ahead but mornings and nights will be pleasant.
Though we can see a Western Disturbance over North Pakistan and adjoining areas but it not has any major impact over the region.
