The cyclonic circulation continues to prevail over South Chhattisgarh and adjoining areas. An east-west trough is also seen extending from Rajasthan up to Central Bay of Bengal across Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Odisha. Both the systems will bring moderate rains with isolated heavy showers over Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha region of Maharashtra on Friday.
Scattered light to moderate rains are also expected Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and parts West Bengal including Kolkata. Light rains will also continue over North Tamil Nadu including Chennai and over parts of East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
Another cyclonic circulation is seen over Tripura and Manipur, which will give mainly light rains over entire Northeast India.
Meanwhile, Monsoon will remain subdued over Peninsular India and most parts of Maharashtra including Mumbai. However, isolated light showers cannot be ruled out.
Similarly, in absence of any significant system, weather will remain mainly dry over Northwest India including Delhi but humid easterly winds will increase the discomfort.
