Weather Forecast for Sep 29: Dry weather in Delhi, Mumbai; Rain in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai

Let’s start with the weather conditions across major cities of India first, Hyderabad and Chennai will witness light intensity spells, while Kolkata and Bengaluru would record light to moderate showers. Meanwhile, Delhi and Mumbai will continue to observe dry weather.

With no active weather system over northwest as well as central regions of the country, dry and warm weather will continue over these mentioned regions, with sunny days but comfortable nights and mornings.

Coming to east and northeast India, the eastern end of axis of Monsoon trough is passing close to the foothills of Himalayas. A feeble trough is extending from East Uttar Pradesh up to Odisha across Jharkhand. In addition to this, a cyclonic circulation is over Northeast Bay of Bengal.

Due to this, light to moderate rains are possible over Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Sikkim and northeastern states. Few places may see isolated heavy spells as well.

Moving down, a cyclonic circulation is over west-central Bay of Bengal off North Andhra Pradesh Coast and adjoining Odisha. A trough is extending from this system up to Kerala across Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalseema and South Karnataka.

Thus, light to moderate rains may occur over Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, North Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Konkan and Goa and South Madhya Maharashtra.
