Weather Forecast for Sep 28: Good Monsoon showers in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha

The situation is now becoming favorable for withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon from some more parts of Northwest India during next 48 hours. Mainly dry weather conditions will prevail over this region. Here’s a look at the weather forecast for tomorrow.

The weather system over Central India will now be seen as a cyclonic circulation over Chhattisgarh and adjoining Telangana region extending up to 3.1 km.

A trough is also extending from East Uttar Pradesh to Andhra Pradesh coast across Chhattisgarh and the center of the circulation. Widespread moderate rains with isolated places receiving heavy showers, are possible over Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha. We can also expect light rains over Andhra Pradesh coast, North Telangana, Bihar, Jharkhand and few parts of East Uttar Pradesh.

Light rainfall may occur over Gangetic West Bengal, East Madhya Pradesh and North coastal Tamil Nadu.

Another cyclonic circulation will be seen over east central Bay of Bengal. It is likely to move in a west-northwest direction. Andaman and Nicobar Islands will receive good rains during next 48 hours with few heavy spells.

A feeble cyclonic circulation over Northeast India will bring light rains over Assam, Meghalaya, and Arunachal Pradesh.

West Madhya Pradesh, coastal Maharashtra will receive scattered light rains but South Peninsula will remain mainly dry with few spells of light rains.
