The withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon is likely to be delayed by another two days as easterly winds are still prevailing over Delhi and Northwest Plains. Here’s a look at the weather forecast for tomorrow.
The low pressure area continues to remain over the same region, around Vidarbha and adjoining Telangana and South Chhattisgarh.
A north-south trough is extending from extreme east up to Telangana across the low pressure area. Scattered moderate rains are likely in parts of South Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, North Telangana and South Odisha. Isolated places could receive heavy rainfall as well.
Scattered light to moderate rains are likely over Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, parts of Gangetic west Bengal and Andhra Pradesh coast.
Scattered light rains are likely over North Tamil Nadu including Chennai.
No significant system can be seen along the Western Ghats. Thus, rainfall will decrease along this region. Only scattered light rains will continue up to Karnataka coast. The saga of subdued rains will continue in Kerala.
A low level circulation can be seen over Northeast India. This will bring scattered moderate rains over, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Northeastern states.
Northwest plains will witness dry weather while Delhi will have partly cloudy and warm weather conditions due to low level easterlies.
