Weather Forecast for Sep 26: Rain in Bengaluru, Kolkata, Tamil Nadu, Kerala

On account of the Western Disturbance over North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir, light rains are expected in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand along with isolated activity over Jammu and Kashmir.

Now, dry northwesterly winds have commenced over the northern plains, due to which weather would go dry over Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, West Uttar Pradesh and Delhi.

Furthermore, the weather over central parts of the country will remain almost dry but there are chances of scattered rain in Konkan & Goa and South Madhya Maharashtra with isolated activity in South Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha.

Moving ahead, the cyclonic circulation over east central Arabian Sea off Karnataka Coast would cause scattered rains over Karnataka including Bengaluru, Interior Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Meanwhile, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema may see light to moderate rains with isolated showers in Telangana including Hyderabad.

Andaman and Nicobar Islands would also see light to moderate rains because of a cyclonic circulation over Andaman Sea.

Finally in East and Northeast India, a trough is running from Sub-Himalayan West Bengal to Gangetic West Bengal. With this, light to moderate rains are expected in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and northeastern states.

Meanwhile, light rain with one or two moderate spells is likely over Gangetic West Bengal including Kolkata, parts of Odisha and isolated pockets of East Jharkhand. Weather over East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar would remain dry. However, isolated showers cannot be ruled out along the foothills of Uttar Pradesh.
