Situation is favourable for Monsoon to withdraw further from the plains of North India. As of now, the cumulative rainfall deficiency stands at 4%.
For the time being let’s take a look at the weather forecast for tomorrow.
The well-marked low pressure area is likely to weaken into a low pressure area very soon. Tomorrow, it will be seen over Vidarbha and adjoining Telangana region.
Moderate to heavy Monsoon rains are expected to continue over South Konkan and Goa, Telangana, and Vidarbha. Tomorrow Marathwada will also receive good showers.
We can also see an upper air cyclonic circulation over West Bengal and neighboring areas.
Moderate rains, with isolated places receiving heavy showers, are likely over North Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Northeastern states.
In view of this weather system, light to moderate showers are expected over Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, and eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh. Gangetic West Bengal and West Madhya Pradesh will also receive scattered light rains.
Mainly dry weather is likely over Northwest plains and the hilly states of North India.
