Weather Forecast for Sep 19: Good Monsoon rains in Mumbai, Goa and Kolkata; hot day in Delhi

The cyclonic circulation prevailing over Central India will move further westwards. Tomorrow, the weather system will be seen over Gujarat and adjoining areas. It will weaken gradually, reducing then intensity of rains over Maharashtra.

Tomorrow, we could see moderate spells, with isolated heavy showers, over Konkan and Goa including Mumbai. South Gujarat Coast will also witness good rains. In view of this system, isolated rains are likely over Rajasthan.

Kerala and Coastal Karnataka will receive light rains only. Rest of Peninsular India will witness subdued rains.

A fresh cyclonic circulation has come up over west-central Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Odisha and North Coastal Andhra Pradesh. It will bring scattered light rains in parts of West Madhya Pradesh.

A trough can also be seen extending from Northeast India to the center of the circulation across Gangetic plains. This will induce scattered light rain and thundershowers over Odisha, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Jharkhand and North Andhra Pradesh.

Bihar and East Uttar Pradesh will receive lightning and thunderstorm followed by scattered showers. North India will remain dry with Delhi witnessing hot weather conditions.

The cyclonic circulation over East Assam and adjoining areas will bring rain and thundershowers over Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh.
