The Western Disturbance is seen moving away. So, light rain may occur over few places of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The weather over entire northwestern plains including Delhi will remain mainly dry.
Moving to east and northeast regions, the western end of the axis of Monsoon trough is running close to the foothills of the Himalayas, while the eastern end passes through Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal. Also, a cyclonic circulation is seen over Northwest Bay of Bengal. Thus, in wake of these weather systems; Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal will get scattered light rains, while northeastern states will settle with reduced rain activity. Odisha, on the other hand, may witness few moderate spells of rains.
Coming to Central India, a cyclonic circulation is over Southwest Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Maharashtra. A trough is extending from this system up to Northwest Arabian Sea. Also, an off-shore trough extends from Konkan region to Kerala. With this, light to moderate rain are possible with one or two heavy spells over Southwest Madhya Pradesh, parts of Vidarbha, North Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan and Goa and South Gujarat.
Light rain is also likely over Chhattisgarh, rest of Madhya Pradesh and Southeast Rajasthan.

Meanwhile, good rains may occur over Kerala and coastal and north interior parts of Karnataka. North Telangana will witness light to moderate rains and light rain is possible at few places over Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and South Interior Karnataka

Talking about major cities of India, Mumbai will witness light to moderate rains, whereas Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata would record light showers. Delhi will continue to remain dry.
