The north westerly winds are now blowing over West Rajasthan. Due to substantial decrease in moisture, Monsoon has withdrawn from parts of Rajasthan. We expect Monsoon to withdraw from some more parts of Rajasthan during next 2 to 3 days.
The low pressure will move further west. With this, heavy to very heavy rains with few extremely heavy spells are expected over Konkan & Goa including Mumbai and parts of Madhya Maharashtra. Meanwhile, moderate to heavy rains will continue over South Gujarat region and Marathwada.
Scattered light to moderate rains may occur over Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka and parts of Kerala.
Scattered light to moderate rains may occur over East and Central Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, over Northeast India including sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.
