The low pressure over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining areas continue to persist. The associated cyclonic circulation is expected to tilt southwestwards.
Moreover, the axis of Monsoon trough will also pass through North Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, centre of low pressure area and further towards North Andaman Sea.
With this, widespread moderate with isolated heavy spells are expected over South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, North Karnataka, southern parts of Maharashtra, and also along the west coast including Mumbai. North Tamil Nadu including Chennai may receive light to moderate showers.
Meanwhile, rainfall will reduce over Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Vidarbha. However, light to moderate showers will continue.
The cyclonic circulation which was over Central Uttar Pradesh is presently seen over Southwest Uttar Pradesh. With this, light to moderate rains may occur over East and Central Uttar Pradesh, adjoining Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal including Kolkata.
Northeast India inclusive sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim will continue to receive light to moderate showers.
Up in North India, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan and Kutch region will witness mainly dry weather conditions. In the meantime, isolated light rains are likely over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Also, moderate to heavy showers may occur over south coastal parts of Gujarat.
