The low pressure area over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh will move in a westerly direction, giving good rains over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and Telangana.
A trough can also be seen running from the low pressure area to South Tamil Nadu coast. Scattered light to moderate rains are likely over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu including Chennai.
In the other side of Peninsular India, subdued monsoon rains will continue along the West Coast.
The western arm of the axis of Monsoon trough will run along the foothills of the Himalayas while the eastern end will be seen moving across Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand. A cyclonic circulation is also lying over East Uttar Pradesh and adjoining areas. Due to these weather systems, we expect good rains to continue over Bihar, Jharkhand and parts of East Uttar Pradesh.
A western disturbance is also moving across North Pakistan and Jammu and Kashmir regions. This will bring scattered light rains over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Weather in Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Delhi and West Madhya Pradesh will remain mainly dry.
