The cyclonic circulation lies over Sub Himalayan West Bengal and adjoining areas. An upper air trough is extending from this system. Therefore, moderate rain and thundershowers with lightning strikes are likely over Odisha, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal and Bihar while Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland will see moderate to heavy showers.
Talking about South, an upper air cyclonic circulation is over Rayalaseema and adjoining areas. An upper air trough is extending from this system to Comorin across Tamil Nadu and South Interior Karnataka. Thus, light to moderate rains are expected over Rayalaseema, South Interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu including Bengaluru and Chennai.
In Central India, a cyclonic circulation is over East Rajasthan and is expected to weaken but it will still give light rains over parts of East Rajasthan, Gujarat, and West Madhya Pradesh. Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh and East Madhya Pradesh may see light rainfall activities.

Talking about North India, western end of axis of Monsoon trough is likely to shift northward close to foothills. Also, a Western Disturbance is over Jammu and Kashmir and adjoining areas along with cyclonic circulation over Northwest Uttar Pradesh. Due to this, light rains are likely over Jammu and Kashmir and Delhi while Himachal Pradesh, North Haryana Uttarakhand and Northwest Uttar Pradesh will see light to moderate rains.
