Talking about the weather conditions across India, a trough which was extending from Madhya Maharashtra to south Tamil Nadu has shifted further eastwards and is presently running from North Konkan to Tamil Nadu along the West Coast. The cyclonic circulation over North Karnataka now can be marked over North Kerala and adjoining area. It is expected that moderate to heavy spells will occur over West and North Tamil Nadu, many parts of Kerala, south and coastal Karnataka, adjoining Rayalaseema, Konkan, Madhya Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh coast. Light Monsoon showers are likely over Telangana, North Andhra Pradesh and North Coastal Tamil Nadu.
Moving to central India, the rainfall activities will decrease over Vidarbha and Marathwada while scattered light rains will continue. Meanwhile, light rain with isolated moderate rain is likely at many places are likely over Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Odisha. South and East Gujarat may also receive scattered light rains.

Moving to East India, the cyclonic circulation has formed over northeast Bihar and Sub Himalayan West Bengal and a trough is extending from this system up to North Bay of Bengal. Due to these combined weather systems, scattered light rain with isolated moderate is likely over East Bihar, Jharkhand, and Gangetic West Bengal. As the axis of Monsoon trough is also running across Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Assam, scattered moderate rain is likely over Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Meghalaya while mainly light rain will occur over remaining Northeastern states.

In North India, the Western Disturbance as an upper air system is moving in the upper atmosphere and the axis of Monsoon trough is running along the foothills. An anti-cyclonic feature can also be marked over central of Rajasthan. It is expected that the temperatures will rise over Northwest plains as dry northwesterly winds will prevail over the area including Delhi. Meanwhile, isolated rain and thundershower may occur over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and foothills of Uttar Pradesh.
Talking about the major cities of India, Mumbai and Bengaluru may receive moderate to heavy spells meanwhile scattered light rain may occur over Kolkata, Hyderabad and Chennai.
