Beginning with North India, the western end of the axis of Monsoon trough is running along the foothills of Himalayas, due to which light to moderate with isolated heavy showers are possible over Uttarakhand, East Himachal Pradesh, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh including Lucknow.
At the same time, short spells of rains are likely over parts of Punjab, Haryana and North Rajasthan.
Further in Central region, moderate to heavy showers are likely over parts of North and East Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Simultaneously, we presume short spells of showers over South Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Konkan & Goa including Mumbai. There is also possibility of light rain in pockets of South Gujarat and Madhya Maharashtra.
Meantime, the intensity of showers will reduce over Coastal Karnataka and light rain would continue over Interior Karnataka, Kerala and parts of Tamil Nadu. The weather of Telangana, Rayalaseema and South Tamil Nadu will remain almost dry.

At last in East & Northeast India, the cyclonic circulation over Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining Odisha would give good rain over East Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Sikkim and Odisha. Meanwhile, Assam, Meghalaya and Nagaland will get moderate rains, while rest of Northeast India would see scattered light rains.
