A fresh Western Disturbance is seen affecting North India and is presently prevailing over North Pakistan. With this, we can expect rain and snow once again over Jammu and Kashmir and parts of Himachal Pradesh by Saturday evening.
This will also change the wind pattern over the northern plains from dry north westerlies to moist south easterlies. Isolated showers are also likely over North Punjab.
Moreover, maximum temperatures will now see a significant drop due to the weather activity over entire North India including Delhi.
A cyclonic circulation is seen over southwest Bay of Bengal near Sri Lanka. Another cyclonic circulation is seen in its close proximity over Lakshadweep and Maldives region.
Both the systems will bring light rain over Kerala and coastal Tamil Nadu. While isolated showers may occur over Andhra Pradesh on Saturday.
Isolated rain and thundershowers are expected over Assam and Meghalaya.
Weather will remain dry over rest of the country that includes entire West, Central and East India.
