The onset of Northeast Monsoon seems to have delayed. As of now, we are not witnessing any significant weather activity across the country.
The ongoing Western Disturbance is likely to move away. A fresh one can be seen approaching the hills of North India. This weather system will largely affect the hills and foothills. Widespread moderate showers are expected over Jammu and Kashmir and parts of Himachal Pradesh during next 24 hours. Scattered rains are likely in Uttarakhand. Northern parts of Punjab and Haryana could see some thundery activity. The trough extending from the Western Disturbance will make the weather in partly cloudy in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi-NCR, West Uttar Pradesh and North Rajasthan.
The anti-cyclone over Gujarat and adjoining areas will keep the weather dry over entire Central India.
The cyclonic circulation over here will bring some rainfall over Tripura, Nagaland, Meghalaya and Assam.
The cyclonic circulation over South Bay of Bengal has become insignificant now.
Scattered rains will continue over Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Isolated rainfall likely over coastal areas of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Telangana and adjoining North Karnataka will be hot and humid with chances of localised thundery activity.
