Weather activity across the country will be on lower side on Thursday as all the weather systems have moved away from the Indian coast.
After the low pressure area, cyclonic circulation in Comorin region of Arabian Sea has also started drifting away from the coast. This will further reduce the weather activity over Tamil Nadu and Kerala on Thursday.
Moreover, the fresh cyclonic circulation over North Bay of Bengal has also become less marked. Accordingly, rain activity will also take backseat over Gangetic West Bengal and northeastern states.
Up in the hills, Western Disturbance has now cleared away from Jammu and Kashmir. However, remnants of the system will give some isolated light showers over Uttarakhand and adjoining West Uttar Pradesh.
Meanwhile, anti-cyclonic circulation over Rajasthan and adjoining Gujarat will keep the weather dry over entire Northwest and Central India. While, peninsular region and East India will have least weather activity.
