The low pressure area in east-central and southeast Arabian Sea off the Karnataka coast has further intensified into a well-marked low pressure area. The system is expected to even strengthen into a depression during next 24 hours. With this, good rainfall will continue over Coastal Karnataka, Goa and Kerala on Friday.
Meanwhile, the weather system in Bay of Bengal which has been responsible for giving good rains over Northeast India has moved away from the region. The system presently lies as a cyclonic circulation over Myanmar region. However, proximity of the system will continue to give scattered light rain over northeastern for next 24 hours.
But rains over interiors of Peninsular India will now reduce both in terms of intensity and spread. While, no weather activity will be witnessed over Northwest and Central India on Friday, even in terms of cloud cover. Day temperatures across both the regions will continue with the rising trend and settle in high 30s. Especially parts of Rajasthan and Gujarat which may record maximum temperatures in early 40s as well.
