The cyclonic circulation over south Bay of Bengal is still prevailing. And, weather models are indicating that system may take at least 48 hours more before it turns into a low pressure area.

Meanwhile on the west side, another cyclonic circulation is seen in Southeast Arabian Sea. However the system is seen slightly drifting away from the coast. By Saturday, it will move further away from the coast and become less-marked.

An east-west trough can be seen running between the two cyclonic circulations on East and West Coast across Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

All the weather systems combined together will be pounding rain over entire Peninsular India. Light to moderate rain can be expected over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Friday and Saturday as well.

Parts of Odisha, Goa and adjoining Konkan region will also receive some showers.

Moving up to the Northeast India, region will continue with mainly dry weather conditions on Friday. However, light showers will make a comeback on Saturday, starting from Nagaland, Manipur, Meghalaya and Tripura.

Up in North India, a feeble Western Disturbance is seen approaching Jammu and Kashmir and is presently marked over North Pakistan and adjoining region. The system will start affecting the weather over hilly region only from Sunday onwards.

We could see an anti-cyclone over Rajasthan, which has led to change in the wind pattern. As a result, dry weather will prevail over entire North, Central and most parts of East India.

Due to this, day temperatures over North and Central India will remain in mid-thirties. But, morning and evenings will be pleasant.
