The upper air cyclonic circulation over interior parts of Odisha is expected to move towards the north. A trough from this system will extend up to North Bihar. Another trough will extend up to Telangana. In view of these weather features, good rains are likely over Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh. Parts of Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, Vidarbha, Telangana, and Coastal Andhra Pradesh are also expected to witness scattered light rains.
Rain in Kolkata could play spoilsport at the Durga Puja celebrations. Similar conditions are expected in other parts of East India as well.
In the West Coast, light rains are likely to occur over parts of South Gujarat, Konkan and Goa as well as Coastal Karnataka. In South India, northern parts of Tamil Nadu may witness some rainfall activity.
Dry northwesterly winds will continue to blow over Northwest India including Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and most parts of west Rajasthan. This will lead to pleasant morning and nights.
