The major highlight of the day will be the cyclonic circulation over this region. By Wednesday, the weather system will be seen over South Gujarat Coast close to Amreli and adjoining areas. Mumbai will receive heavy showers on Tuesday and moderate rains the next day.
There is another lower levels cyclonic circulation lying over Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
Moderate to heavy rainy spells are likely at many places over south coastal parts of Gujarat, North Konkan. Light to moderate rains are likely at many places over southeast Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and few parts of Chhattisgarh.
The cyclonic circulation over Coastal areas of Odisha, off northwest Bay of Bengal will bring scattered light rains over many parts of South Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, North Tamil Nadu, Telangana and North Karnataka.
Scattered light rains will continue over Northeast India, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar and adjoining East Uttar Pradesh.
Mainly dry weather conditions are likely over Northwest India. With the change of wind pattern, humidity levels will decrease marginally. Delhi will witness mainly partly cloudy sky with isolated places receiving thunderstorm activities during afternoon hours.
