Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata will continue to reel under dry weather conditions, while Bengaluru and Chennai would record light to moderate rains. Light spells are also likely over Hyderabad.

Coming to North India, a Western Disturbance is seen over North Jammu and Kashmir. However, not much activity is anticipated over the region as the system is feeble in nature. So, only isolated activity can occur over Uttarakhand. Meanwhile, with the prevalence of dry winds over Northwest India, the weather will remain dry and warm over the region including Delhi and NCR.

Moving to east and northeast India, a cyclonic circulation is over Gangetic West Bengal. Moreover, humid winds are blowing across most eastern states such as Bihar, Jharkhand and East Uttar Pradesh. Due to this, light to moderate rains are possible over Jharkhand, Odisha, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. While Bihar, West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh will record light spells.

Moving to central region, due to merging of northwesterly and southeasterly winds, scattered light to moderate rains are likely over Chhattisgarh, parts of East Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha. The weather over West Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Marathwada will remain dry.
