Weather Forecast for Oct 4: Rain in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata; Dry weather in Mumbai, Delhi

A feeble Western Disturbance is seen over North Pakistan. Due to this weather system, no major significant weather changes are likely to occur over the adjoining areas.

Also an anti-cyclonic circulation is seen prevailing over South Rajasthan. Moreover, dry northwesterly winds are also blowing over entire Northwestern Plains. Therefore, dry weather will persist with clear sky over northern plains of India including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan as well as Hills of Western Himalayas.

Another cyclonic circulation is seen over Northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha Coast. A trough is also seen extending from Jharkhand up to North Kerala via the above-mentioned cyclonic circulation.

Due to this, a few places over Jharkhand, Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal including Kolkata and many districts of Odisha will witness light to moderate rains. Further, the rain intensity is likely to further reduce over Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh although scattered rains cannot be ruled out.

Talking about Central India, the weather will continue to remain dry and hot over most parts of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. Meanwhile, light to moderate rains may occur in many places over Chhattisgarh while isolated rains are likely over Vidarbha.

Live status of Lightning and thunder

Coming to South India, moderate showers will continue to occur in many places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and a few places over Telangana as well as Hyderabad.
