The low pressure area over Coastal Andhra Pradesh has further weakened into a cyclonic circulation. However, it will continue to give light to moderate rain and thundershowers over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and North Tamil Nadu including Chennai on Sunday. Scattered rains are also likely over Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal including Kolkata.
Humid winds from this system are also reaching up to Northeast India. As a result, scattered light to moderate rain and thundershowers are also likely over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, while Assam and Meghalaya will record light showers only.
A trough is also extending westwards from this system, which would give light rains over Kerala and parts of Karnataka.
Another fresh cyclonic circulation has developed in east-central Bay of Bengal, which is moving west direction. It is likely to give scattered rains over Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Meanwhile, North and Central India will continue with comfortable and dry weather on account of continuous flow of dry and cool northwesterly winds. With temperatures dipping and light winds, we could witness haze, mist and smoke engulfing several areas of northern plains.
