Northeast Monsoon remained active over Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Also now, rainfall activity is likely to decrease marginally over Kerala and western parts of Tamil Nadu. A cyclonic circulation was seen prevailing over south central Bay of Bengal and is now over south west Bay of Bengal off Sri Lanka coast.
A trough is also extending from south of Andaman and Nicobar islands up to south Arabian Sea across south of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. In wake of this, increase in the rainfall activity is possible along the coast of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
Moderate rains are expected to lash Andaman and Nicobar Islands while southern parts of the area may receive a few heavy spells. Telangana and North Karnataka will remain dry; South Karnataka may get isolated rains.
A cyclonic circulation is over North of Bangladesh. North-south trough is seen extending from Sub-Himalayan West Bengal up to northeast Bay of Bengal. With this, a few places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura may receive scattered light rains along with possibility of fog and mist formation during morning hours.

On the other hand, Arunachal Pradesh and Assam is likely to remain dry. During this period, dry weather is anticipated to continue over Bihar and Jharkhand. Isolated rains are likely in extreme south of West Bengal and adjoining northeast Odisha. Remaining parts of Odisha will reel under dry weather.

Morning temperatures are expected to witness a marginal drop while day temperatures will remain hot over North West Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.
A cyclonic circulation is over North of Rajasthan and adjoining Central Pakistan. Dry weather is likely to prevail over entire Northwestern plains as well as Hills of North India. Pollution and haziness will continue to be on the higher levels over most parts of Northwestern Plains.
