Northwest, light and dry northwesterly winds are prevailing over Punjab, Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh and so, pollution would continue to haunt the northwestern plains including Delhi-NCR. No significant improvement is expected.

Moving onto East, a cyclonic circulation is over Bangladesh and adjoining areas. Thus, rain and thundershowers are expected in parts of Assam, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. Otherwise the weather in the eastern and remaining northeastern states will remain dry.

Cloudy sky is expected in Coastal parts of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh due to the cyclonic circulation over west central Bay of Bengal and a trough extending from this up to north Bay.

Down South, the weather would remain dry, barring extreme Southern parts of Tamil Nadu and Kerala where there are chances of few spells. Moderate rain is also expected in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
