The depression in east-central Bay of Bengal has intensified into a deep depression. It is moving in north-northeast direction towards Myanmar and have full potential to further intensify into a cyclone in another 24 hours.
The system will continue to give moderate to heavy rains over northern parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Scattered rains are also expected over Tamil Nadu.
Another, cyclonic circulation is seen over Lakshadweep region, which will give moderate rains over Kerala and Lakshadweep region, with one or two heavy spells.
Up in North India, the Western Disturbance is moving across Jammu and Kashmir, however it will not have any impact on the weather of the region.
Meanwhile, dry and cool northwesterly winds will continue to blow over entire North, Central and East India. As a result, weather will remain pleasant and minimum temperature will also continue to settle on the lower side between 12 and 17 degrees.
