A low pressure area has been formed over east central Bay of Bengal. This system is further likely to concentrate into a depression and move in a northwest direction towards Odisha Coast and Andhra Pradesh. A trough is also seen extending from south east Arabian Sea across Karnataka and Rayalaseema. Due to these weather systems, a few spells of heavy showers are likely over northern parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Moderate rains with isolated heavy showers may occur over Telangana, South, Coastal and interior Karnataka, adjoining areas of Rayalaseema and many parts of North Kerala. Whereas, scattered light to moderate rains are possible over rest parts of Andhra Pradesh, rest Kerala, North Karnataka, many parts of Tamil Nadu and South Maharashtra including Mumbai.
On the other hand, the rainfall activities are expected to reduce further over South Odisha, South Chhattisgarh and northeastern states. With this, the day temperatures may rise marginally over these regions as well as over Madhya Pradesh, North Chhattisgarh while the minimum temperatures are expected to drop by 2-3 degrees. Besides this, scattered light to moderate rains are expected over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
However, isolated thundershowers are possible over extreme South of Gangetic West Bengal.

Due to an anti-cyclonic circulation over Gujarat and adjoining areas, the weather of Gujarat and Kutch region will continue to remain dry and hot.
A Western Disturbance is seen over extreme North of Jammu and Kashmir. Even with this weather system, no significant changes in weather activity are likely over Northwestern plains including Delhi and West Rajasthan.

In addition, the day temperatures are expected to touch 40 degrees Celsius mark and dry and warm weather conditions will prevail over these regions.
