Weather Forecast for Oct 12: Rain in Hyderabad, Mumbai; Dry weather in Kolkata, Jaipur, Delhi

Let’s begin with weather forecast for North India, a cyclonic circulation is seen over Central Pakistan. Also, dry northwesterly winds have again started blowing over Northwest India. In wake of this, humidity will reduce and the region will reel under warm days but comfortable nights.

Coming to East and Northeast region; the low pressure area that was over Jharkhand has weakened, although light rains are possible over parts of East Bihar, East Jharkhand, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya and Odisha.

Meanwhile, remaining states of Northeast India namely Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura are likely to settle with light to moderate rains.

Talking about Central India; South Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and Marathwada are expected to record light to moderate rains over some places, whereas North Chhattisgarh, most of Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and South Rajasthan will remain hot and dry.

Moving down, a cyclonic circulation is over east central Bay of Bengal and from this system extends a trough up to Telangana. Another circulation is seen over west central Arabian Sea. In wake of these multiple weather systems, light to moderate rains are expected over Telangana, Rayalaseema, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and parts of Karnataka. Light rains are also possible over North Tamil Nadu and parts of Kerala.

Lastly, the weather conditions across major cities of India; Delhi, Kolkata and Jaipur will continue to see dry and warm weather, while light spells are possible over Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai. The City of Nizams, Hyderabad would record moderate rains.
