Talking about the weather conditions across the country, in East India, a deep depression has formed over West Bengal and adjoining Jharkhand. In wake of this weather system we expect moderate to heavy rain over Gangetic West Bengal, northern parts of Odisha and adjoining parts of Jharkhand.
Light to moderate rain may also over parts of Bihar, remaining parts of Odisha and West Bengal. Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura may also receive light to moderate rains at many places. While, remaining Northeastern states and Bihar will witness scattered light rain.
In North India, a feeble Western Disturbance is prevailing over North Jammu and Kashmir. As this weather system is weak, hence it will not have any impact over the region. Weather of the entire northwestern plains including Delhi will remain dry. Presently easterly winds are expected to prevail over Delhi NCR and many parts of Haryana and Rajasthan. Due to theses humid winds haze is expected during morning hours.

In central India, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Marathwada and Southeast Madhya Pradesh may witness light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells. Meanwhile, West Madhya Pradesh and South Gujarat are expected to get light rains at a few places. Weather of Saurashtra and Kutch and South Rajasthan will remain dry.
Live status of Lightning and thunder
In South India, a cyclonic circulation is marked over Madhya Maharashtra and another is circulation is prevailing over West Central Arabian Sea. A trough is also extending from Jharkhand up to the Arabian Sea across Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra. Due to these multiple weather systems, we expect light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells over Konkan and Goa and Madhya Maharashtra. North Interior Karnataka, Telangana and Coastal Andhra Pradesh may also receive few good spells of rain. While, scattered rain is possible over Rayalaseema and subdued over Kerala, Tamil Nadu and South Interior Karnataka.
Talking about the major cities of India, Kolkata will witness heavy showers. Mumbai and Hyderabad moderate rain and Chennai and Bengaluru will record light showers only. While, Delhi and Lucknow will remain dry.
