Cyclone Titli has finally formed over west central Bay of Bengal and is moving in northwest direction towards North Andhra and South Odisha Coast.This system is likely to cross the coast between Gopalpur and Kalingapatnam around morning of October 11.
In view of this, sea conditions would remain rough along the east coast right from Andhra Coast to West Bengal Coast, with squally winds of 50-60 kmph gusting at 70 kmph.
Consequently, heavy to very heavy rains will commence over Coastal Odisha, with moderate showers in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Gangetic West Bengal by late afternoon or evening of October 10.
Kolkata is also likely to witness some moderate rains with some heavy rains during the next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, peripherals of Cyclone, would give light rains in parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
Further ahead, a trough is extending from west central to east central Arabian Sea. Thus, scattered light to moderate showers are possible over coastal and south interior districts of Karnataka, parts of Kerala and Interior Tamil Nadu. Meanwhile, Coastal Tamil Nadu and Rayalseema may see light rains only.

In Central India, weather would remain dry and warm over most parts of Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Rajasthan. However, isolated rains may occur over Konkan & Goa but that would not bring any relief from the hot weather.
Finally up in North, a Western Disturbance is over Jammu and Kashmir and an induced cyclonic circulation is over North Rajasthan. Hence, isolated rains are expected in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh with thundery activity in North Rajasthan. Meanwhile, weather of Uttarakhand and entire northern plains including Delhi would remain dry and warm.
