The cyclonic circulation over South Chhattisgarh is now over Vidarbha and adjoining areas. A north-south trough is running from this up to South of Delhi across Madhya Pradesh. A fresh cyclonic circulation has developed over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining Bay of Bengal. An east-west trough is extending between both the systems. With this, scattered moderate showers with isolated heavy rains may occur over Vidarbha, South Madhya Pradesh, South Chhattisgarh, North Telangana and Odisha. Meanwhile, light rains are likely over remaining parts of Maharashtra including Mumbai, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, North Tamil Nadu including Chennai and North Interior Karnataka. Rest of Peninsular India will witness isolated light rains.
Parts of Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh could also see some thundery activity on Saturday, however, significant rains are not in store. Remaining parts of Northwest India will continue with dry weather conditions. Up in Northeast India, the cyclonic circulation continues to prevail over Tripura and Manipur, which will give scattered light to moderate rains over entire region.
