Northeast Monsoon is all set to revive, with fresh weather systems approaching Peninsular India.

The cyclonic circulation in South Andaman Sea is gradually moving closer to the Tamil Nadu coast and is presently marked in southwest Bay of Bengal. It is likely to intensify into low pressure anytime now, which will increase the rain activity. On Saturday, we can expect light to moderate showers over Coastal Tamil Nadu including Chennai.

Meanwhile, a fresh cyclonic circulation is seen over Southeast Arabian Sea that will give isolated light showers over Kerala.

Moving in the central parts of the country, another cyclonic circulation is over Gujarat and South Rajasthan. A north-south trough is extending from the system up to Haryana and Delhi NCR across East Rajasthan.

Under its influence, we can witness cloudy weather over the places along the trough line, with few isolated showers.

Up in North India, the Western Disturbance affecting the region has now moved away. As a result weather conditions will now improve in hilly areas on Saturday, with day temperatures that have witnessed a drop crawling back to normal.

Indo-Gangetic plains including parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar will continue to witness shallow fog during early morning hours. Meanwhile, Northeast India will witness moderate fog.
