The cyclonic circulation over southeast Arabian Sea continues to persist. A trough is seen extending from this system across Kerala, Tamil Nadu and coastal Andhra Pradesh up to cyclonic circulation over Andhra Pradesh and Odisha coast and then further up to Northeast region. Due to this, we can expect fairly widespread good showers over Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
Rain activity is also expected along the trough line that includes parts of South Karnataka, Rayalaseema and coastal Andhra Pradesh. While, coastal parts of Odisha, Chhattisgarh and West Bengal will receive with isolated light showers only.
Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur and Tripura will also witness some weather activity due to the trough reaching up to the region.
Meanwhile, anti-cyclone circulation over Rajasthan will keep the weather mainly dry over entire Northwest and Central India.
