The low pressure area over North Bay of Bengal has weakened and is now seen as a cyclonic circulation over Southeast Bangladesh and adjoining northeastern states.
With this, scattered light to moderate rains are likely over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
Another cyclonic circulation is persisting over Gulf of Siam. With this, rain intensity is expected to increase in Andaman and Nicobar Islands in next 24 hours.
Weather in South Peninsula will remain dry; however parts of South Tamil Nadu and Kerala will continue to record isolated showers.
Meanwhile up in northern plains, we can expect gradual increase in the speed of northwesterly winds. With this slight improvement in the smog conditions are expected. This will also drop both the maximum and minimum temperatures across northwest plains and Central India.
