Weather Forecast for Nov 7: Rains in Tamil Nadu, Kerala; Delhi pollution to persist

Beginning with the hills of North India, with clear weather conditions, weather would remain dry over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Minimum temperatures may witness further drop in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand but it will be a marginal one.

Similarly, dry and cold north westerlies would blow across the northern plains, which would further drop in day and night temperatures across Haryana, Punjab and Delhi-NCR.

Talking about pollution, While Tuesday saw improvement in air quality but that was for a brief period only. It would start soaring again on Diwali and days to come.

Moving to South India, the low-pressure area has now intensified into well marked low pressure area over Sri Lanka and South Tamil Nadu coast. With this, light to moderate rains are likely over Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Isolated rains would also be possible over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Moving to East and Northeast India, a Cyclonic Circulation persists over Assam, that would give light to moderate rains over Assam and Meghalaya. Isolated light rains are likely over rest of the northeastern states.

However, weather over entire eastern states would be absolutely dry, with marginal drop in temperatures.

Central India would too continue with dry weather. However, the trough running from Madhya Maharashtra up till Coastal Karnataka might give light rain with one or two moderate rains over Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan and Goa.
