The cyclonic circulation over Southwest Bay of Bengal persists. Another cyclonic circulation can be seen over Southeast Andaman Sea. A trough is extending from South Coastal Andhra Pradesh to Andaman Sea.
Moderate to heavy rains are expected over North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh Coast. Chennai rains which had taken a break yesterday will pick up pace again wreaking havoc over the city.

Scattered light to moderate rainfall is also likely over Andaman and Nicobar islands, Kerala, South Karnataka, Rayalaseema and Interior Tamil Nadu.
East and Northeast, cool mornings with mist and shallow fog will be prevalent across the region. Day will be warm while nights will remain cool with temperatures ranging between 20 and 23 degrees.

Central India, Gujarat and West Rajasthan along with Konkan region will observe very warm afternoons. Meanwhile, West Madhya Pradesh and Madhya Maharashtra will observe very cool mornings.
Coming to Northern parts of the country, dry and comparatively cool northwesterly winds will prevail over the plains of North India. Day temperatures are likely to see a marginal rise. Moderate fog is expected over Punjab, Haryana, and North Rajasthan. Talking about Delhi, pollution levels may witness some improvement after 24 hours.
