Up in North, no significant weather system is seen over North India. Dry cool winds would prevail over north and northwest plains of the country. However, isolated pockets of east Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand might receive light rain thundershower activities.
Generally, cool morning with mist and haze would prevail. Drop in day and night temperatures can be seen. Whereas, days will be sunny and pleasant over most of the places.
A small trough can be seen running between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Due to this, we can expect light rains at few places of North Assam and adjoining parts of Arunachal Pradesh. Morning temperature is expected to drop with fog and mist expected over some parts. Day is expected to be clear with light winds. Whereas, rest of the region would experience mainly dry weather.
Eastern states of the country would experience dry weather. Haze and mist can be seen during morning hours. However, dryness towards afternoon is expected to increase. Odisha might witness partly cloudy sky.
In the Central part of the country, an Anti-Cyclone is marked over Madhya Pradesh. Light winds with comfortable day and slight haziness is expected over the states. Whereas, Kutch might witness a drop in day temperature. Few places of coastal region and Madhya Maharashtra might receive light rain. Rest of the region would continue to experience dry weather.

Down South, the Cyclonic Circulation which was over South-central Bay of Bengal has now moved further westwards and now lies over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka coast.
Isolated light rain would continue over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Extreme districts of South Tamil Nadu and Kerala might witness few spells. This activity is expected to increase in coming 48 hours.
Rest parts of the region would experience dry weather.
